This system allows for automated importing of an external customer’s asset data as long as they can configure their RMS to send an automated email with a CSV of that data.
The customer will set up their RMS system to mail a CSV of their asset extended data to a dedicated AWS SES email address.
The CSV should have the asset’s external_id/reference_number in the first column, and then asset attributes in external columns.
The CSV imports are validated against both the sender and destination email address for security.
