Users may need to close open transactions they have, without completing a new inspection. For some, it can be tricky to figure out just how to do that. Here are the steps to close an open transaction without doing a return:
1. Launch the Record360 mobile app on your iOS or Android device.
2. Select Start to choose a workflow.
3. Once a workflow is selected, enter the same Unit ID that was used when creating the inspection. When this is entered, you should see a screen that lets you know this Unit ID has an open inspection.
4. Select the option for Checkout to close the inspection without completing a Return. Please note that this text may vary depending on the terminology used for your workflow.
5. When Checkout is selected, you can select the open inspection from the list that displays.
6. Once you select the open inspection, you will receive a message that asks if you would like to close the inspection and create a new one. Select Yes.
7. The Open inspection is now closed, and no Return is needed.
